Description in Model View in Power BI

The descriptions can be applied to table, columns, hierarchies, or measures. In the Fields pane, description text is revealed in a tooltip when a report author hovers their cursor over the field.

When we hover over the column 10th Marks in sheet1. We get the following result.

To add the description:
Step 1: Go to the Model View. Select the column 10th Marks in the Sheet1 table.

In the Properties pane, in the Description box, enter: This is the column in sheet1. Now if we hover over the 10th Marks column of the Sheet1 table. We get the following result.
