Make a Question Required in Microsoft forms

We can make any question required by setting the required toggle to on for that question.

The Required toggle is set to On value, it means the question is required now and the user need to fill something in the question, otherwise the form will not submit.

Put the form in preview mode, we note that the asterisk mark (*) is shown on the required questions.
